Q: Playing my first game, and when I moved from the primaries to the general election, I noticed the turns changed from one week to one day. OK. CP's adjusted accordingly, as well as fund raising and cost of activities, all adjusted accordingly. However, the cost of ads I had been running continued to be the same cost per day as they were per week prior to the general election. Is this intentional, and if so why?

A: Ads are run 1/7th the amount during primaries, even though they are on a weekly basis, as they are during the general election. Therefore, the actual amount of advertising is the same in the primaries and general election, and so the cost is the same.
