Nevermind, I've been able to work around it: it seems the problem is only if you change the default candidate on/off settings. I reset the edited scenario, then only added candidates, and edited the issues, then manually turned candidates on/off (at the choose scenario screen rather than the edit screen) and it worked fine.

Hi, I bought PF2008+P, created a scenario (specifically Wonk Edition, adding candidates, changing who is own by default), but when I play this edited version, if I toggle from the primaries to the general, the message "List index out of bond (0)" pops up and the map doesn't change. I can get around this by clicking the background (the blue grid) and then clicking on the map - which lets me see the states, but the message will still pop up everytime I click a state whilst in general view, or if I toggle back into the general map again (after toggling back into the primary). Is there something I can do to solve this please?

Hello,

I recently got a new computer because my old one was broken, is there a way I can re-download President Forever 2008 onto this computer, without having to pay for it again?

Hi Clayton,

The best way for us to figure this out is for you to e-mail us ( http://www.theoryspark.com/interact/contact.htm ) the savegame file (zipped, or compressed) from a turn before the error occurs (if you had autosave on and haven't played another game in the meantime, there will be a save file called autosave in President Forever 2008 + Primaries's savegame folder).

Hi.

I created a new character with the candidate option. It was a Republican. After I'd pretty much won the primaries with this character, I decided to shake things up a offer the VP position to Hillary with the VP offer and some PiPs. She accepted.

However, now that I've done that, the turn seems to have frozen on 'processing turn,' and whenever I click off of it, my computer gives me an error message saying 'List index out of bounds (4).'

What does this mean? What happened?

Please send us a zipped (compressed) savegame from just before the error. If you have AutoSave on, play until you get the error. Then send us the autosave, which will be saved from the turn before.

Hi:

I have noticed my election returns on election night for on Prez Forever 2008 come in very very slowly. Ive tried speeding up the results by pressing the button for FF, but nothing happens.

Thanks
